This is purely speculation at this point, but Mauricio Shogun Rua was quoted as saying he may face UFC Hall of Famer Mark Coleman in December…as long as Coleman stops running away from him.

Rua has been rehabbing his knee for the past few months. He actually had to pull out of a mega fight with Chuck Liddell at UFC 85 because of this injury. Rua is keen on re-matching Coleman since they first fought under the Pride banner in 2006. An awkward landing broke Rua’s arm less than a minute in to their match, handing Coleman the win.

An interesting thing to note is the difference in size between the two fighters. Coleman fights at about 240lbs, while Rua looks like he could easily make 185lbs. Coleman has a HUGE size advantage on Rua, yet will still be the big underdog if Rua has fully recovered from his injury.
