UFC 87 keeps growing as Manny Gamburyan and Rob Emerson will square off in a Lightweight tilt.

After his bizarre no contest with Gray Maynard where both fighters were incapacitated (Emerson from a slam, and Maynard from driving his own coconut into the mat) Emerson earned a split decision win over Keita Nakamura.

Meanwhile after the ultimate cheapshot, Manny “fake like I’m going to touch gloves, but then sneak in a sidekick” Gamburyan defeated Jeff Cox via guillotine choke in his last outing. Really, it was the cheapest, most gutless, classless act I’ve seen in years and years of any sport period. If you don’t plan on touching gloves to start, then don’t do it. Anderson Silva didn’t want to touch gloves with Dan Henderson in their fight, so Silva made no motion towards it whatsoever…after that, Hendo realized it and the fight was on.  No problems.

I thought Manny was a hot-headed tool on the Ultimate Fighter show, now I just think he’s a tool.
