Poor Michael Bisping.

The bloke tried his hardest at UFC 100, but he came up short (and out cold) against a Dan Henderson right-cross. This is *actually* an action shot, a split second after Hendo crushed the left side of Mike’s face in…and someone had the nerve to super-impose Bisping’s head on a gay, dancing fairy for their own amusement!! The person who did this exquisite, seamless (and somewhat funny) job ought to be ashamed!!

Note: Bisping doesn’t actually have that goofy, Simpson-esque under-bite in real life. As I said before, this is an action shot of him after Hendo nearly knocked his block off, and before Hendo’s extra “Forearm of Doom” mashed into Mike’s chin after Mike hit the canvas.

Rich Franklin recently shared his thoughts about being coach of the Ultimate Fighter 9, opposite Michael Bisping in an interview with fanhouse.com. In a nutshell, he would only do it if the UFC asked him to. He feels he’s at a point in his career/life that he doesn’t want nor need to be away from his family for six straight weeks…Vegas doesn’t particularly appeal to him either.

Said Franklin:

It’s time away from my family and time away from doing the things I can do to make money. The show doesn’t pay very well. But anything the UFC asks me to do, I’m always on board for.

I seem to recall the UFC giving Franklin a tricked-out Hummer H2 for being the coach of season 2…which Franklin turned around and tried selling on ebay for $80,000. As well, I’m sure there were some other perks as well as a check. I wonder what else Franklin could do in a six week time frame (besides a fight) to make more money than going on TUF 9? After all, a co-motivating factor of the show is to spend 12 or so weeks building up a mega-fight between the two coaches. A Franklin vs Bisping match would be money, especially in the UK.

Keep in mind however, that Franklin has to get by Hendo first, no easy task.
