The remaining assets of Pro Elite, Elite XC’s parent company will soon be sold, eBay style, on November 17th. During its two year existence, the company managed to rack up about 60 million in debt and was forced to declare bankruptcy after its October 4th debacle of a fight card.

Those assets are its video library and fighter contracts. Some names up for grabs: Kimbo Slice, Jake Shields, Gina Carano, Antonio Silva, Robbie Lawler, Nick Diaz and KJ Noons.

Now you too can own these assets; just head down to the offices of Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, 350 South Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90071 on November 17th at 2:30pm. Of course, the assets “will be sold on an “as-is, where-is” basis, without recourse, warranty or guarantee of any kind, express or implied, including as to title, possession, enforceability, validity, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose”

Call Kevin Sevener now, at 212-708-3259!! If you call in the next 10 minutes, they’ll throw in Ken Shamrock’s contract for three easy payments of only $0.99!! Just kidding.

ProElite, Incorporated, the parent company of Elite XC has gone belly up.

Several sources have confirmed the company has sent out notices to managers that the company will cease its fight operations this week, and has begun letting employees go. Its next show scheduled for November 8, in Reno, Nevada has been cancelled.

The 2yr old company has accrued over $55,000,000.00 in debt, that’s fifty-five million dollars, and was in such a bad way, that CBS actually funded their last card on October 4th. Even though the show was a ratings success, it was hardly enough to bail the company out.

So I guess Tito Ortiz won’t be fighting here anytime soon than. The prized free agent had been strongly rumored to be landing in Elite XC, and now Affliction is the probable (and likely only viable one) destination for the former UFC 205lb champ. One less place for guys to fight is always a bad thing.

Now where ever will “Shamrock vs Shamrock: Blood Brothers” take place?
